Baker.  The Mt Baker Rim is located 20 miles from Mt Baker Ski Area.  Residents of Mt Baker Rim can view Mt Baker as well as Church Mountain.  The Clubhouse has a reading area, an indoor fireplace, ping-pong, pool table, and a kitchen area.  Next to the clubhouse is the swimming pool, tennis courts, and pickle-ball court all with beautiful views of Mt. For homes sold during the month of June 2013 there were 19 units.  In 2012 during the same month there were 20 units.  Selling units are down 5%.  The Year to Date number of homes sold in 2013 (Jan. – June) are 122 units compared to 105 units sold during the same time in 2012.  So we are up 16.2% for sold units.  The Year to date average sold price was $243,711 in 2013 compared to $266,720.  Selling price is down 15%.  Time on the market average is 100 days compared to last year when it was 124 days on market.  Days on market are down 19.4%.

Some of the homes on the market today located in Double R Ranch Blaine WA are priced well below market value.  If you are looking to get a good deal on a home there are three factors that you want to find in your seller.  The first factor is motivation.  If a seller is not motivated to sell their home then you will see that by simply looking at how long the home has been sitting on the market.  Based on the average days on market, homes that are competitively priced are going to sell before the 100 day mark.  If they have not sold within 100 days that may be an indication that the sellers did not have a price adjustment strategy, or it might indicate that the sellers are simply not very motivated to sell.  Contrast that with sellers that are looking to relocate and have started the actual moving process and you might find yourself a motivated seller.  With any motivated seller there is room at the negotiating table and a higher chance for a successful transaction that would result in a win-win situation.  Finding a motivated seller is finding a good opportunity to buy at a bargain price.  If you are looking for a 3 bedroom home on a larger lot with some privacy please consider taking a tour with your local real estate agent and actually walking through some of the homes that are available in Double R Ranch Blaine WA.

Relying on prayer is important to me as a Christian realtor in Bellingham Wa because we are told in in Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. “   In any real estate transaction there can be difficulties and stress.  Oswald Chambers once said “We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”  Most of my prayers are simple like “Dear God please help me to work diligently as unto You.  Help me to price this home accordingly and bring the right buyer at the right time for the successful sale of this home.”

Trusting in Jesus is important because while I do the marketing needed to help you sell your home in Bellingham Wa  for the most amount of money in the least amount of time with the least amount of hassle; my trust for the outcome is ultimately in the hands of the Lord.  Proverbs 3:5 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding”.   It is God that directs our steps as Christians.  I use cutting edge resources to help buy and sell homes and at the same time the reminder in the Bible is to always trust in the Lord and not in ourselves.
